According to Monroe County Sheriff David Hoffman, on Thursday, April 13, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office arrested Larry D. Isgrig of Paris.

A Paris, Mo., man faces four charges relating to sodomy.

According to Monroe County Sheriff David Hoffman, on Thursday, April 13, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office arrested Larry D. Isgrig of Paris.

Isgrig was later formally charged with three counts of second-degree statutory sodomy and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

According to Hoffman, the arrest was a result of an investigation into a report of an ongoing sexual relationship with a child under seventeen years of age. The alleged victim was interviewed as part of the investigation. Within hours of interviewing the child, a search warrant was requested and received. A search of the residence was conducted for evidence of the crimes alleged.

During the search evidence was collected that related to the investigation, including marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Isgrig is being held in the Randolph County Jail on $100,000 cash only bond.
