A Louisiana woman sustained moderate injuries Monday night in a one-vehicle mishap in Pike County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident happened at 10:40 p.m. April 10 at Highway B and MO 79.

A 2007 Toyota Camry was being driven west on Highway B by 24-year-old Kayla M. Findley of Louisiana. Reportedly the accident happened when Findley failed to stop at a stop sign, the vehicle crossed MO 79 where it left the roadway and went into a field.

Findley, who was wearing a safety device, was taken by ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
