On Thursday, April 6, members of the Hannibal Early Birds Kiwanis Club visited the students of the Mississippi Valley State School on Munger Lane with the Easter Bunny.

On Thursday, April 6, members of the Hannibal Early Birds Kiwanis Club visited the students of the Mississippi Valley State School on Munger Lane with the Easter Bunny.  They provided each student with a stuffed bunny rabbit and then entertained the students and their helpers with various Easter season songs. 

The Hannibal Early Bird Kiwanis Club will also be hosting its 30th Annual Easter Egg Hunt next Saturday, April 15, on the campus of Hannibal-LaGrange University starting in the Mabee Sports Complex. 

Doors will open at 8:30 a.m.  Admission is free.  Each child up to age 9 will receive a free draw ticket as they enter the complex.  Additional tickets may be purchases for $1 per ticket. The Easter Bunny will be in attendance for pictures.  Prize giveaways will begin around 9 a.m. and the hunt for 10,000 colored Easter Eggs will begin shortly after 10 a.m.  The hunt will be divided into three separate ages groups toddlers to age 3, ages 4-5-&6’s, and finally ages 7-8 & 9’s. 

The Hannibal Early Bird Kiwanis Club is a local service club that strives to meet the needs of our children and young people in the Hannibal area through fund raisers during various projects throughout the year.
