On March 4, a joint investigation with the Pittsfield Police Department and the Pike County Sheriff's Officer resulted in the arrest of two Pittsfield residents on drug and child endangerment charges.

On March 4, a joint investigation with the Pittsfield Police Department and the Pike County Sheriff's Officer resulted in the arrest of two Pittsfield residents on drug and child endangerment charges.  Officers executed a court authorized search warrant at a Pittsfield residence on Kellogg Street.

The officers found four adults and five children present in the residence. Officers located and seized methamphetamine, cannabis, illegal prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia, digital scales, and other items of drug distribution evidence.

Christopher Beck, age 39, of the residence was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, and endangering the health or welfare of a child.

Stacey Beck, age 38, of the residence was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and endangering the health or welfare of a child.

Both subjects were lodged in the Pike County, Ill., Jail pending a court appearance.  The Illinois State Police assisted with the investigation.  The Department Children and Family Services have been notified.  The investigation continues.
