Pike County Sheriff Stephen Korte reports that on Sunday, Jan. 29, members of the Pike County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at 419 S. Cuivre Street in Bowling Green.

Pike County Sheriff Stephen Korte reports that on Sunday, Jan. 29, members of the Pike County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at 419 S. Cuivre Street in Bowling Green. The residence adjoins the Bowling Green City Park and the walking trail of the park is approximately 60 feet from the residence. The subsequent search of the home led to methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, and defaced firearms being seized from the residence.

Arrested were the following individuals:

Trevor Traynor, 25, of Louisiana, for possession of methamphetamine.

Brandon Waite, 24, of Eolia, for possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a defaced firearm.

Cassidy Niffen, 24, of 419 S Cuivre Bowling Green, for possession of methamphetamine.

The Pike County Prosecuting Attorney’s office charged Traynor with class D felony possession of methamphetamine, bond was set at $10,000 cash only.

The Pike County Prosecuting Attorney’s office has also charged Waite with the class D felony unlawful possession of a firearm, the class B misdemeanor of possession of a defaced firearm, and the class D felony of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Bond was set at $5,000 cash only.

As of the time of this release a probable cause statement has been filed on Cassidy Niffen, but has not been charged as of the time of this release.
