The Hannibal Arts Council is currently hosting the ever-popular Young Masters II: Hannibal High School exhibit now through Thursday, May 15. The HAC galleries are overflowing with original works by students in Hannibal High School art classes. HHS art classes are taught by Susie Friesen and James Zimmerman.
An awards reception will be held on the final night of the exhibit, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 15. Students, family, friends, and the public are encouraged to attend the event.
All exhibits and openings at the Hannibal Arts Council, 1221 Market St., are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Young Masters exhibits are sponsored by the Hannibal Arts Council, with additional financial assistance from the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
