The Ashburn Rural Fire Department is hosting a turkey shoot Sunday, May 18, at the fire station. The event will begin at noon.
Paper targets will be shot. Ammunition will be furnished for each division: 4-10, 20, 16 and 12 gauge.
The prizes include ham, pork loin, turkey and bacon.
Food and drinks will be available. No alcohol will be allowed.
All proceeds will go to the Ashburn Rural Volunteer Fire Department to help with operating expenses and to purchase new equipment.
The reach the site of the event go 18 miles south of Hannibal or 14 miles north of Louisiana on Missouri 79. Turn on Route TT and go one mile. The fire station is on the left side of Route TT.
