A gardening conference is planned from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at the JWCC Student/Administrative Center on the Quincy campus at 48th and Harrison.
The event will be sponsored by John Wood Community College, University of Illinois Extension, Master Gardeners, the City of Quincy and WQUB Radio.
Keynote speaker will be Mike McGrath, the author of six gardening books and the host of “You Bet Your Garden” national radio show. The cost for this conference is $40. This fee includes 12 classes, lunch, snacks, door prizes, and written materials.
