Genealogical Society to meet

The Great River Genealogical Society will meet at 6 p.m. Oct. 9, at the Quincy Public Library, 526 Jersey St., Quincy, Ill., in a combined meeting with the Quincy Public Library’s program. The program, “Ghosts in the Library: Civil War Graves of Adams County,” will be presented by Dan Reed, Iris Nelson, and Dr. Timothy W. Jacobs. The program will center on the Quincy Woodland Cementery. This Mausoleum and other Civil War graves will be the main subject of this virtual tour led by the three presenters.
