Joe Lewis of Bowling Green is nearing completion of his new United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development home just south of Bowling Green on Highway 161. Joe had the new home customized to accommodate his wheelchair and it is completely accessible. The home was a part of the North East Community Action Corporation (NECAC) Homeownership Section 8 Housing Program. The 1,000-square foot home features a 4x6 shower and cabinets that are at wheelchair level. NECAC/CONTRIBUTED
