Master Barnum hosted a Regional Taekwondo Tournament in Chicago, Ill., on April 12. ATA competitors were there for top honors in forms, sparring, weapons and Xtreme martial arts. Taylor Estes, 1st degree black belt, from Edwards ATA Black Belt Academy in Hannibal, took first place in sparring and 4th place in weapons. Colin Estes, 1st degree black belt, also of the Edwards ATA Black Belt Academy in Hannibal, took third in sparring and fourth in weapons. Taylor and Colin attend Oakwood Elementary in Hannibal.
