Hannibal-LaGrange College, in partnership with F.A.C.T. (Families and Communities Together), will host a FRONTLINE World Social Entrepreneurism Film Program on Oct. 14 and Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. in the Hannibal-LaGrange College Partee Center Page dining room. This event is free to the public.
Included is a film viewing and discussion program on the topic of social entrepreneurship. The discussion following the film will be facilitated by Louis Riggs, HLG instructor, and Sherry Lunneborg, executive director of F.A.C.T.
The goal of the program is to engage the general public, students and professionals in a discussion with leaders in business, humanitarian aid, academia and/or social activism on the concept of social entrepreneurship as a way to create meaningful solutions to social problems in developing countries, in contemporary society and in local communities.
