Quincy Fire Fighters Local No. 63 will meet at Walmart at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, to shop for children whose angel tags still remain on the Angel Tree. The tags represent children who might not have gifts under the tree this year if it were not for the generosity of individuals and groups such as the fire fighters.
At this time, there are still about 80 tags that have not been taken from the Angel Trees in Quincy, and there are still many outstanding gifts from those who have taken tags. The Salvation Army asks that those participating in the Angel Tree Program have gifts turned in on Monday, Dec. 15 to The Salvation Army at 732 Hampshire in Quincy. Angel Tree distribution will take place on Thursday, Dec. 18 beginning at 10 a.m. for families who have previously applied.
