ith the holidays quickly approaching and the economic downturn hitting close to home, there are many who need a helping hand this holiday season. When Quincy Medical Group Employees were looking to help others through the season, they didn� have far to go. Several fellow QMG employees are experiencing a tough time of year due to the economic impact in their own family. Over $900 was raised by QMG� employees from a bake sale and from Jeans Day, a QMG monthly program where employees can purchase a ticket for $2 that allows them to wear jeans for a day. QMG employees brought in over 500 non-perishable food items and County Market donated the totes for the food baskets. �e have such a generous group of people that work here, they were more than willing to open their hearts and help each other,�said Dana Klocke, Reception Services. By practicing the adage that charity starts at home, the QMG employees are ensuring that 27 of their fellow workers�families will be enjoying a brighter holiday season. CONTRIBUTED
