Hannibal Farmer’s Market open

The Hannibal Farmer’s Market is now open for the 2008 season. The market will be open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon May through October. Tuesday evenings will be added during the peak summer months of June, July, and August.
Evening hours are 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. located on the fifth street side of Central Park. “Locavores” (a term used to describe folks who try to eat only foods produced within a certain radius of where they live) can find what they need at the Hannibal Farmers’ Market. There will be plants, vegetables, baked goods, fish, beef, and a few crafts available in May. The market master is Nan-Poage-Prater and can be reached at 14491 Hwy.
