The Hannibal Cavemen will begin their third season at Clemens Field at home on Thursday, June 2, against the DeKalb County Liners. The Prospect League schedule was finalized and approved by team owners this week at the same time spring training began for Major League Baseball.
The Cavemen will play a total of 28 home games at Clemens Field throughout the summer including six home games versus arch rival Quincy Gems. The entire Prospect League schedule can be reviewed at the league’s Web site - www.prospectleague.com .
According to John Civitate of the Cavemen, currently only season tickets and group tickets for the “all-you-can-eat and drink” Sunset Deck, the Home Run Deck and Luxury Suite are available for purchase. For ticket information call (573) 221-1010. Individual game tickets for the 2011 season will be available at a later date, added Civitate.
