The Alpha Phi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi announced the 2018 Miss Paris contest is set for Friday, April 13 at 7 p.m. in the Paris High School gym. The theme is “Puttin’ On the Ritz.”
A new addition to this year’s pageant is “Little Sister” participants. All girls in second grade in the Paris or Holliday School District may sign up to be Little Sisters. They will not be competing, but will be appearing on stage with all the contestants in the opening number and introduced individually to the audience.
Alpha Phi members will begin recruiting contestants and “Little Sister” participants on Wednesday, Jan. 31. Information packets will be distributed at school to all interested. Any unmarried young ladies in grades 6 -12 who reside in the Paris or Holliday area may compete in Miss or Junior Miss Paris. Participants must attend rehearsal on Wednesday, April 11 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., sell a minimum of 10 advance tickets, and attend a pizza party/practice with the “Little Sisters” on Thursday, April 12 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
