Participants will play games, hear stories and hike on the paved trail to the amphitheater site of Sodalis Nature Preserve to see Santa Claus.

A new event at Sodalis Nature Preserve is Sunday. The Ho Ho Hike begins at 1 p.m. Dec. 10, starting at the Trailhead.

Participants will play games, hear stories and hike on the paved trail to the amphitheater site of Sodalis Nature Preserve to see Santa Claus.

Gale Rublee, nature educator, will lead the hike. Rublee had been a professional storyteller and teacher-naturalist for school groups at the Missouri Botanical Garden’s Shaw Nature Reserve. She is now the youth coordinator and acting teacher for Bluff City Theater’s Academy and YETI (Youth Education Theater Initiative) program.

Photos will be taken with Santa Claus, cash donations to Toys for Tots are suggested for the photos.

Santa Claus will be at the amphitheater site at Sodalis Nature Preserve until 4 p.m.
