Charlie and MarySue Mitchell of Perry, and Chuck and Jo Leake of Columbia, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Nicole Leake. to Joseph Lee Madison. He is the son of Nick and Glenna Long of New London, and Ray and Ginger Madison of Liberty, Ill.
The prospective bride is a 2005 graduate of Mark Twain Junior/Senior High School. She received her associate's of applied science in respiratory care from Hannibal-LaGrange College in 2008. She is currently employed at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., and is also completing an internship at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Mark Twain Junior/Senior High School. He is currently employed at True Manufacturing in Mexico.
The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. Aug. 30, 2008. The ceremony will be held at the First Baptist Church in Perry and a dinner reception will follow at Mark Twain Landing.
