Sweets receives education scholarship

Amy Sweets of Hannibal, a music education major at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, was among four Northwest students who recently received Isgur Scholarships. Sweets is a 2006 graduate of Hannibal High School.
The scholarships provide $750 a term for one academic year to education majors at Missouri schools who are preparing for careers teaching arts and humanities in elementary and middle schools.
