Eugene Field Title I teacher, Marcia Chesser, received a $300 grant from NEA and Staples. A check was presented to Mrs. Chesser by NEA representive, Stacey Graves. The grant money will be used to purchase nonfiction books for student take-home bags. Third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students will be able check out a bag of books that are interesting to them to take home and read with their families.
