Chris Hill, the son of David and Kathryn Hill of Palmyra, graduated summa cum laude on May 17 from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla. He received a bachelor of science degrees in both mechanical engineering and engineering management.
He completed three internships: in the corporate engineering department at Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis, for ExxonMobil in an underground coal mine in Carlinville, Ill., and with Anheuser-Busch in the utilities department at the brewery in Jacksonville, Fla.
Hill is a construction engineer in the Offshore Fabrication & Systems Group with ExxonMobile Development Co. in Houston, Texas. He plans to work toward an MBC at Rice University.
