Cooking lesson

Veterans Elementary School students enjoyed the benefits of the third and fourth graders’ lessons in economics. The older students learned measurement, supply and demand, the importance of correctly reading food recipes, and marketing products. They invited the younger students and staff to sample the results of their work. Pictured are the students in Sarah McDowell’s pre-k class enjoying the rewards all the hard work. W. T.
