The 2012 Ice Bowl at Huckleberry  Park was a big success this weekend, setting a record for the most participants. There were 47 participants in the sixth annual disc golf tournament, which was sponsored by the Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department.

The winner was Jerry Barklage of Overland, Mo., who shot a 96 in two rounds, 36 holes. The rest of the winners in the A Flight were: Tim Sullivan of St. Charles, Derek Green of Old Monroe, Steve Bagnard of Old Monroe and Richards Sheets of Fort Madison, Iowa.

The winners in B Flight were: Kevin Beach of Fort Madison, Iowa, Eric Twedell of Lake St. Louis, Eddie Kruse of Fort Madison, Iowa, Gary Polkinghorne of O’Fallon, Mo., and Cliff Goodin Jr. of Thompson, Mo.
