Mickels joins respiratory program

The Hannibal Career and Technical Center and Hannibal-LaGrange College announce the appointment of Alicia Mickels, BS, RRT, RCP, as director of clinical education for the Respiratory Care Program. 
Mickels graduated from the first RRT class offered at HCTC.  She obtained her bachelor’s degree in organizational management from HLG in 2007.  She has worked as a staff therapist at Blessing Hospital for eight years.  She came to the Respiratory Care Program from Children’s Mercy Hospital where she was working as a traveling respiratory therapist. 
 Mickels will work with Linda E. Smith, BS, RRT, RCP, program director of the Respiratory Care Program.
