Based on their sales last year, Ayerco generated more than $272,000 to benefit public education programs like A+ Scholarships, the Classroom Trust Fund and Access Missouri.
A Marion County business is being recognized for the second time as a top-selling Missouri Lottery retailer.
“Ayerco and the other 51 Million Dollar Club members exemplify that hard work and dedication can pay off,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery.
Reardon said that the Missouri Lottery compiles an annual list of all the retailers that sold more than $1 million in Lottery product during the past calendar year.
“While every one of our more than 4,700 retail partners help generate millions for public education each year, we like to recognize the ones that go above and beyond,” said Reardon.
In celebration of their success, the Missouri Lottery is hosted a customer appreciation event at Ayerco, 8800 Highway 24 in Taylor, on Wednesday, June 28. Based on their sales last year, Ayerco generated more than $272,000 to benefit public education programs like A+ Scholarships, the Classroom Trust Fund and Access Missouri.
“Missouri public education wasn’t the only winner, either. Players who purchased their Lottery tickets from Ayerco last year won more than $790,000 in prizes,” said Reardon. “Appreciation events like these allow us to honor these diligent locations.”
Public education programs in Marion County received more than $486,000 in appropriated funds from statewide Lottery sales during fiscal year 2016. Historical lists of county-by-county Lottery proceeds expenditures can be found at
