Workers were atop the Clemens Field grandstand in Hannibal Monday morning where the roof is being replaced.

Work was continuing Monday morning on the replacement of the Clemens Field grandstand roof in Hannibal.
Andy Dorian, director of the Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department, reported during the October Park Board meeting that “labor issues” had slowed the project’s pace.
Dorian added that Dyllon Marsolf Construction of Springfield, Mo., would still have “plenty of time” to complete the work within its 60-day window.
The City Council approved a contract with Dyllon Marsolf Construction during its Sept. 1 meeting. Its bid of $105,942 was the lowest of three bids. The Parks Department had budgeted $150,000 for the project.
