  • Juanita M. "Neat" See, 90, of New London, Missouri, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2014, at Luther Manor Nursing Center in Hannibal.

  • Juanita M. "Neat" See, 90, of New London, Missouri, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2014, at Luther Manor Nursing Center in Hannibal. 
    A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Hannibal, Mo. Father Mike Quinn will officiate. Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in  Hannibal. 
    Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m. at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
    Mrs. See was born July 16, 1924, in Hannibal, Mo., to James H. Tapley and Anna M. Elzea Tapley Rhodes Kindred.
    She was married to James Virl See on November 21, 1945, at the St. Mary's Rectory in Hannibal, Mo. He preceded her in death January 8, 1981.
    Survivors include three children, James "Terry" See (Cookie), Jon "Jack" See (Sandy), and Anita "Shelly" Pryor (Larry), all of New London, Mo.; one brother, Bernie Rhodes of Florida; two sisters, Virginia "Chic" See of Hannibal, Mo., and Donna Rhodes Collins (Paul) of St. Ann, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Gibson, Grant Gibson, Jeremiah See, Andrew See, Cassie See McLaughlin, John Pryor and Jimmy Pryor; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents.
    Mrs. See previously worked at the Rubber Plant and also as a seamstress at the Mark Twain Boat Factory and Tom Sawyer Boat Factory. Juanita was a volunteer for over 20 years at the Mark Twain Museum. She was a longtime member of the R.S.V.P. and a D.A.R. member.  Mrs. See was an avid square dancer and most of all loved spending time with her family and her grandkids. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Flint Hill Cemetery Association, in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
    Pallbearers will be Jeremiah See, Andy See, John Pryor, Mike Fenton, Brad Epperson and Jeremy Gibson.
