The Mark Twain Corvette Club’s All-Corvette Car Show on Saturday, Aug. 2, attracted a record number of entries, according to O.C. Latta, who coordinated the show for the club. “It was the most successful Corvette show we have ever held,” he said.

A total of 170 Corvettes were parked along North Main Street in downtown Hannibal, where sunny weather brought out many viewers.

This was the club’s eighth annual show. It was co-sponsored by Poage Auto Center and the Mark Twain Corvette Club.

Proceeds will be donated to the Disabled American Veterans.

“The Annual Mark Twain Corvette Show is becoming the premier Corvette show in the Midwest,” Latta said. “Our show brings a lot of business to downtown Hannibal. The businesses that participate and appreciate the show are very pleased. We appreciate their support.”
