  • Loren Henry Tucker, 73, of Hannibal, Missouri, and formerly of Amarillo, Texas, passed away at 1:42 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at his home.
    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014, at James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO.  Brother Justin Mosher will officiate.  Burial will be at Downing Cemetery in  Downing, MO.
    Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
    Mr. Tucker was born April 29, 1941, in Ottumwa, Iowa to Owen and Minnie Baker  Tucker.
    He was married to Janet  Clark on August 14, 1965 in Anchorage, Alaska.  She survives.
    Other survivors include 3 children, Stacie Tucker of Lee’s Summit, MO, Heather Tucker of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Eric Tucker (Kelly) of Amarillo, TX; 1 brother, Tim Tucker (Mary) of Queen, City, MO; 2 sisters, Barbara Hudlemeyer (Larry) of Liberty, MO, and Alice Banks (Mark) of Columbia, MO; 2 grandchildren, Kate and Ella Tucker; and several nieces and nephews.
    He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, James Tucker and an infant brother, George William Tucker; and his in laws, Edgar and Velma Clark.
    Mr. Tucker was a United States Air Force Veteran.  He worked as a contractor for the United States Department of Energy in Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas.  Mr. Tucker was a graduate of Bloomfield Iowa High School in 1960. He graduated from college from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO in 1962 and the University of Missouri in 1969 and 1972.  Mr. Tucker was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.  Mr. Tucker was a member of Fifth Street Baptist Church.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Fifth Street Baptist Church or Pulmonary Fibrosis Association in care of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
    Pallbearers will be Tim Clark, Todd Clark, David NcNeal and Francis Wells.
