  • Thomas “Tommy” A. Wilson, 80, of Hannibal, Missouri, passed away, at 1 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2014.
    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.  Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
    Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
    Mr. Wilson was born January 2, 1934, in Hannibal, MO to Bennie F. and Genevieve King Wilson.
    He was married to Gwenda Billings on June 5, 1954, in Hannibal, MO.  She survives.
    Other survivors include 4 sons, David A. Wilson (Peggy) of Center, MO, T. Wayne Wilson (Mary) of Hannibal, MO, Steven Wilson (Pam) of Hannibal, MO, Les Wilson (Angel) of O’Fallon, MO; 2 sisters, Betty Oltman (Bill) of Hannibal, MO, and Sue Mundle (David) of Hannibal, MO; 11 grandchildren, Davie Wilson, Jon Wilson, Jason Wilson, Justin Wilson, Stevie Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Danielle Haursperger, Scott Kendrick, Lance Kendrick, Shane Wilson and Tommy Wilson; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
    He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 daughter, Kathy Kendrick; 3 brothers, William Wilson, Kenneth Wilson and Richard Wilson; and 1 great grandson, Jaxon.
    Mr. Wilson worked as a meat cutter for National Food Store and was a member of Union Local #88. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing horseshoes and bowling.  Tommy was a lifetime member of the P.O.P.S. Club, Goodfellows and the Men’s Auxiliary.  He previously coached fast pitch softball for several years and was also a Boy Scout Leader for many years.  Mr. Wilson was a Catholic by faith.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor’s Choice in care of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
    Pallbearers will be Mr. Wilson’s grandsons.
    Honorary pallbearers will be Al Johnston, Larry Marine, Bobby Whitley, Dusty Wilson, Kenny Ray Wilson, Johnny Joe Wilson, Charlie Janes and Dan Kendrick.
