A St. Louis man sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle mishap early Monday morning in Marion County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the crash happened at 5:35 a.m. on U.S. 61, two miles north of Taylor.

A 2005 Ford Ranger was being driven north by Bradford J. Baker of St. Louis when it traveled off the left side of the road and struck a guard rail.

Baker, who was not wearing a safety device, was taken by Marion County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
