Alexis M. Harvey, 17, of Palmyra, went by ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries suffered in a one-car crash at 10 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, in rural Marion County.

Alexis M. Harvey, 17, of Palmyra, went by ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries suffered in a one-car crash at 10 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, in rural Marion County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Harvey was driving a 2001 Ford Escape on Marion County Road 402 two and a half miles east of Palmyra.

The car went off the left side of the road, hit a guardrail and became airborne, stopping in a creek. Harvey was wearing a seat belt.

Assisting the State Patrol at the scene were the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, Marion County ambulance personnel and Palmyra Fire Department.
