Frances F. Temple Dickerson, 93, of Hannibal, MO, died at 4:47 a.m., Friday, February 14, 2014, at the Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Charles Eric Turner will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.
Mrs. Dickerson was born December 4, 1920, in Hannibal, MO, to James H. and Gertrude F. Smith Temple.
She was married to John T. Dickerson on July 8, 1945, at Hannibal, MO. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1997.
Survivors include her daughters, Joan Dickerson of Quincy, IL, Joyce Turner (Charles) and Janet Donelson (Michael) both of Hannibal, MO.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kevin Grubb (Tanya), David Grubb (Tammy), Stephen Grubb (Rachelle), Beth Schaefer (Chris), Jason Grubb (Cathy), Brian Donelson (Kori), Eric Turner (Stephanie), Jody Donelson (Raini), and Susan Donelson (Chris); several great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her infant son, Kenneth Wayne Loflin; her brother, Kenneth Temple; and her grand daughter, Michele Donelson Wolterman.
She was a cook for many years, working at Hannibal-LaGrange University, Hannibal Nutrition Center, and St. Elizabeth's Hospital, all in Hannibal. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hannibal. She enjoyed sewing, tending to her garden, and taking care of her lawn and flowers. She also enjoyed taking care of children.
Memorial contributions may be made to Beth Haven Nursing Home or Calvary Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
