  • Three Louisiana, Mo., residents were injured in a collision at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, on Georgia Street at Route NN in Pike County, Mo.
    The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Gary A. McDaniel, 32, of Louisiana, was driving a westbound 2004 Jeep Wrangler, and it hit a deer.
    His vehicle then traveled into the eastbound lane, hitting a 2005 Dodge Durango driven by Angela R. Martin, 41, of Louisiana.
    Martin suffered moderate injuries. McDaniel and his passenger, Kayla J. Alexander, 29, of Louisiana, were not injured.
    McDaniel’s passengers, Shelby A. McDaniel 6, and Troy A. McDaniel, 4, had minor injuries.
    The injured occupants were taken by ambulance to Pike County Memorial Hospital. All the occupants of both vehicles were wearing seat belts, according to the state patrol.
