Last weekend’s windy weather contributed to at least some of the city of Hannibal’s four power outages.
According to the Board of Public Works, the first outage happened around noon Saturday. Customers on Pulliam lost service when a tree got into power lines. Service was restored in 40 minutes.
Three outages occurred Sunday.
A 40-minute service disruption happened on Lilly, Owens, Warren Barrett and Market because of a tree. The outage, which started at 10:50 a.m., lasted 40 minutes.
At 11:20 a.m. downed limbs caused an outage on Silver, Franklin and Bramblett. Power was off for 30 minutes.
Market, Hope and Chestnut were without electricity for 45 minutes. Weather was cited as the cause of the outage which lasted 45 minutes. The loss of service happened at 12:10 p.m.
