Donald “Donnie” Ray Willis, 54, of Hannibal, Mo. died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at his home.
A Memorial Celebration will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2013, at Smith Funeral Home and Chapel in Hannibal. Rev. Scott Hawes will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Grand View Burial Park. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donnie was born April 2, 1959, in Hannibal, Mo., the son of Donald Gene and Janet Hoenes Willis. He married Tammy Bower on January 24, 1981, in Hannibal, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Willis of the home; parents, Donald and Janet Willis; two daughters, Marty Gonzalez (Alex) and Amanda Gauch (Lance) all of Hannibal, Mo.; one sister Janet Tutor (Brad) of New London, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Breanna, Alexia, Dayanara, Alejandro, and Isaac Gonzalez, Titus and Hunter Gauch; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donnie graduated from Hannibal High School in the class of 1977. He worked as an electrical contractor for various companies around the world. He enjoyed fishing, coin collections, watching the Cardinals, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Donnie was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the family, in care of Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
