    This is an annual event hosted by the Hannibal Police Department. The event at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center is open to toddlers through 12 year olds, and their parents.
    A costume contest for youngsters - 0 to 3, 4 to 6, 7 to 9, and 10 to 12 years old will begin at 7 p.m. Registration for the costume contest begins at 4:30 p.m.
    For the older youngsters a haunted house will be provided. A hale bale maze will be available to the younger children in attendance. A craft tent will be open for the youngest children.
    Why you should attend
    “We’re providing a safe, fun and free environment where kids can come with the whole family and enjoy Halloween night without having to wonder whose door they’re going up to, where the candy is coming from and if it’s safe. There will be free food and popcorn, along with games, candy and prizes.”
