Mrs. Geneva F. "Ginnie" Glover, age 88 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., a former Hannibal, Mo. resident, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at The Arbors at Westbrook.
Ginnie was born March 28, 1925, in Hannibal, Mo., the daughter of Robert and Nora Thomas Cowden. She was married on February 1, 1975, in Hannibal, Mo. to James L. Glover.
A lifelong resident of the Hannibal, Mo., area, Ginnie moved to Jefferson City in August, 2010.
She was employed as the switchboard operator at the Hannibal Clinic in Hannibal for twenty years prior to her retirement in 1988.
Ginnie and Jim were members of the Oakwood Christian Church in Hannibal and the Good Sam's Traveling Club in Hannibal.
Survivors include: her husband of thirty-eight years, James L. Glover; four daughters, Carolyn McMillen and her husband Jack of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Claire Handorf and her husband Lynn of Gladbrook, Iowa, Beverly Barron of Holts Summit, Mo., and Dale Crawford and her husband Randy of Holts Summit, Mo.; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Larry Barron.
Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary, Jefferson City, Mo. from 9 until 10 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2013.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2013, in the Freeman Chapel, Jefferson City, Mo. with Chaplain Bart Larson officiating. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Grand View Cemetery in Hannibal, Mo.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Arbors at Westbrook, 3335 N. Ten Mile Drive, Jefferson City, Mo.
