Marilena  Willett, 89, of Hannibal, Missouri, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2013 at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Rev. Steve Barker will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Willett was born January 31, 1924, in Hannibal, Missouri to Greene and Dollie Smith Caldwell.
She was married to Robert Marion Willett. He preceded her in death October 19, 1991.
Survivors include 6 children, Bruce Willett, Brad Willett (Donna), Becky Judlowe (Marty), Brent Willett, Beth Lewton (Gus), and Brandee Willett; 9 grandchildren, Jeremy Willett, Brian Willett (Genevieve Makovec), Kirsten Willett Heater (Nate), Dawn Willett Dysinger, Aaron Judlow (Molly McIntosh), Lucas Judlowe (Laura), Rachel Willett, Katie Lewton and Tyler Lewton;  6 Great-Grandchildren, Rilee, Cameron, Justin, Zachary, Seth and Hazel: and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by 1 sister, Mildred “Mick” Simms; and 2 brothers, Budge Caldwell and Willie Caldwell.
Mrs. Willett was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and woodworking. She also liked going to yard sales and auctions and loved classic cars. Mrs. Willett became a pilot when she was 50 years old. She loved spending time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids. The family greatly appreciates the wonderful caregivers that have lovingly cared for Marilena and supported her family. She was a longtime member of First Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church or Community Loving Care Hospice in care of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Willett’s Grandchildren.
