Courier-Post journalists Danny Henley and Jason Farmer are recipients of honors presented last weekend by the Missouri Press Association.
Danny Henley won first place in the Better Newspaper Contest for his feature photo of a man watching the demolition of the old YMCA building at Fifth and Broadway.
He also won second place in the best news photo category for a photo depicting the pigeon problem in downtown Hannibal.
His quick respons to a fire on Chestnut Street won him third place recognition in the Best Breaking News Story Category.
The image of a skateboarder received an honorable mention award in the Best Feature Photo contest, and he also won third place and an honorable mention for editorial writing.
Jason Farmer, Courier-Post sports editor, received a third-place award as Best Sports Columnist for his Hall of Fame Series.
