  • Deer causes crash, Hannibal man injured

  • Steven G. Reid, 20, of Hannibal, suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, in rural Ralls County. He was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

  • Steven G. Reid, 20, of Hannibal, suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, in rural Ralls County. He was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
    According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Reid was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox on U.S. 61 at Route O two miles north of New London.
    Officers said he swerved to miss a deer on the highway. The vehicle hit a road sign, went off the road and overturned, stopping on its wheels under the Salt River Bridge. Reid was using a safety device.
