  • Fern Florine Sederwall, 90, of Quincy, Illinois, and formerly of the Hannibal, Missouri, area passed away at 6 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2013, at Sunset Home in Quincy, Illinois.
    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Rev. Steve Barker will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
    Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
    Mrs. Sederwall was born September 8, 1922, in Monroe City, Missouri, to Garnet Roy and Lyda Dunham Marshall.
    She was first married to James Jud in Camp Point, Illinois. She later married Jack E. Sederwall on August 29, 1944. He preceded her in death.
    Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie Albertson of Quincy, Illinois; one son, John M. Sederwall of Johnston, Iowa; six grandchildren, Brad Moore, Brian Moore, Brenna Eisenbeiss, Beth Russell, John M. Sederwall II and Tania Naeve; eight great-grandchildren, Steven Moore, Brock Russell, Brody Russell, Taylor Moore, Kylie Naeve, Cael Naeve, Kaylen Naeve and Tre Sederwall; two great-great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Moore and Jordan Moore; and one brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Velma Sederwall of Hannibal, Mo.
    She was preceded in death by one sister, Lovina Unkfer Harrison; two half-brothers, Clifton and Ernest Rutledge; one daughter-in-law, Jonda Sederwall; one son-in-law, Richard "Al" Albertson; and one great-granddaughter, Abby.
    Mrs. Sederwall retired from Western Printing in Hannibal, working in the paste and layout department. She previously helped at Zim's Bakery. Fern loved to travel and visited every state capital except Alaska and Oregon. She also liked fishing, hunting and crocheting. Mrs. Sederwall was a member of Ilasco Methodist Church and attended First Methodist Church.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Sunset Home, in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
    Pallbearers will be Steven Moore, Brian Moore, Brock Russell, Brody Russell, Jim Thompson and John M. Sederwall II.
