Witnesses told an officer that it appeared the male who was driving a white Ford F-150, identified as Daken Fee, appeared to be suffering a medical condition. The pickup drove through the westbound on ramp median of U.S. 36 at Mark Twain Avenue and into westbound traffic where it collided with a tan Chevrolet truck, operated by Kevin Wellman, that was carrying a water tank.
According to the Hannibal Fire Department, it was called to the scene to help extract Fee from the pickup. Police say that Fee, who appeared to be in stable condition at the scene, was transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.
Wellman declined treatment, according to a spokesman for the Fire Department.
