Sierra Burch was crowned Miss Marion County Fair on Saturday, July 27, in the pageant at Flower City Park. Burch also won the talent contest.
First through third place runners-up, respectively, were, Destiny Reed, Destinee Selleck and Emily Tate. Rebekah Peiter and Sky McElavin tied for fourth runner-up.
The retiring Miss Marion County Fair is Emily Haines, who will compete in the Miss Missouri State Fair contest on Aug. 8 and 9.
Burch will compete in the state contest in 2014.
Two new contests were added at the Miss Marion County Fair contest this year. They were Junior Miss for ages 11 to 15, and Pre Junior Miss for ages 8 to 10.
Katie Manzke was crowned Junior Miss.
Runners-up, first through fourth place respectively, were: Caitie Corum, Trinity Griesbaum, Amanda Lewis and Gracie Bross.
Griesbaum also won the talent contest.
Corum won the sponsorship contest.
Kaelyn Crane was crowned Pre Junior Miss, and she also won the talent contest for her age division.
First runner up was Kamaryn Shuck, who also won the sponsorship contest.
Second through fourth place runners-up, respectively, were Sophia Ragar, Abrianne Hall and Abbigail Schafer.
