Carl Anson Rucker Jr., 70, of Macon, MO, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013, at the Boone Care Center in Columbia, MO.
Carl was born on March 15, 1943, in Albany, OR, the son of Carl Anson Sr. and Martha (Watts) Rucker. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting, collecting guns, cooking and worked for Prenger’s grocery store for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Bridget of Macon; three children, Diana Bentley of Macon, Sherri Siegfried and husband Michael of Higginsville, MO, Stephanie Williams and husband Dean of Moberly, MO; three step-children, Jonathan Scott Taylor of Macon, Sara Palmer and husband Adam of Salisbury, MO, Joseph Taylor and wife Kathy of Keytesville, MO; seven grandchildren, John Riechers, Jared Siegfried, Cody Fields, Nick Williams, Shane Siegfried, Morgan Feutz, and Miranda Williams; five step-grandchildren, Matthew, Mason, and Tryson Taylor, Lucas and Jacob Palmer and 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, Dale Rucker of Center, MO, two sisters, Judy Williamson of Middleton, OH, Barb Craigen of Center, MO, and one aunt.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Memorials are suggested to the Patriot Guard.
