Take a Tour… right in your own backyard!
Itinerary Series
One of our targeted focuses for Tourism is the group travel market. In order to make it easier for large groups to visit Kirksville, we create sample itineraries to distribute with suggested ideas.
We have decided to share those suggestions with our readers here, so that you can see the hidden gems we show our guests! In many cases, our office works directly with businesses to set up tours. If you and a group of friends are interested in a tour, but don’t know where to start- give us a call. We are happy to help!
Antique Shoppers Itinerary
Begin your day at Lawson Hill Antique Mall, with 34 vendors from Missouri and Iowa! Head downtown to visit Hidden Treasures, a 3 story consignment shop and Princess
Emporium, which is housed in the renovated Princess Theatre.
Enjoy lunch at Steve’s Garden Deli or The Greek Corner Gyros and then explore Linen
Lady Antiques, located in the historic Grim Building. You’ll love the original ceramic fireplace! Don’t forget to enjoy Brown Bear Antiques and Dee’s Good Old Days Antique Mall to find glassware, furniture, and collectibles.
Dine at one of Kirksville’s great local favorites like The Dukum Inn, Wooden Nickel, or
Pagliai’s Pizza before wrapping up the day.
