  • A pair of Palmyra teen-agers were left with minor injuries following a one-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Marion County.
    According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident happened at 8:45 p.m. on County Road 110 five miles south of Maywood.
    A 2002 Nissan Sentra was being driven east by 19-year-old Blayne M. White of Palmyra. The mishap reportedly occurred when White swerved to avoid an animal in the road. The car ran off the left side of the road and overturned.
    In addition to White, who was not wearing a safety device at the time of the crash, also injured was 18-year-old Dilan S. Parrish of Palmyra. He was wearing a safety device.
    Parrish did not seek treatment for his injuries. White was taken by a private vehicle to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
