Two people were left with injuries following a crash Tuesday evening in Marion County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident happened at 6:45 p.m. on Route 168 one mile north of Hannibal.
A 2013 Ford Escape was being driven north by 61-year-old Sheryl S. Murphy of Hannibal. It reportedly made a left turn into the path of a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 52-year-old Robert G. Jentsch of Overland. Jentsch was thrown from the motorcycle.
Jentsch, who suffered moderate injuries, was taken by Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., by Marion County Ambulance. Murphy’s injuries were described as minor. She was taken by private vehicle to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Both drivers were wearing the appropriate safety devices at the time of the mishap.
