Candice Howe, a 2013 graduate of Hannibal High School, has been awarded the “Lois Jackson Newman Youth Scholarship.”
The scholarship was established by Lois J. Newman for the purpose of providing educational assistance in the form of college scholarships to members of the International Order of DeMolay, the International Order of Rainbow for Girls or to the sons and daughters of members of the Missouri Order of the Eastern Star.
Candice is the daughter of J.R. and Elaine Howe. Her grandmother, Anice Renner, is a member of the Lighthouse Chapter 194 OES in Hannibal.
Candice will be attending the University of Missouri in Columbia.
